The members they meet ,on top of a hill
All to launch rockets, just for the thrill
The wind and the rain can be a bain
But launch we do, regardless of pain
Now Tony and Bob, they did the job
Tony launched his 'Klingon Cruiser', that pleased the mob
While Bob's ‘Helicat’ended up all wet and bent
And Jake's 'Navy' also suffering a dent.
Ian's the lad with the large launch pad
With rockets to match, Big, mean and bad
He launched his extended' Honest John', that was good fun
But the highlight was his 'Blue Thunder', and for that we did run
Pete was his usual true to form
Controlling the launches has become the 'norm
The younger members, eager for fun
Launched a series of rockets, to show how it's done
Gary and Peter, they launched a few
An 'Alpha' a 'Dagger' and ‘Maniac’ too
James flew his Manta, it was somewhat stodgy
"Proof" he claims, "Bob's engines are dodgy"
Dave launched his ‘Atlas’, a retirement feat
His cross launch R2D2 alas, landed in a heap
Then young Trevor launched his ‘Helicat’
The parachute failed, it was almost Splat
Sam launched a ‘Fat Boy’ ,’Sidewinder’ and ‘Estes Tron’
“All went well “ he says, cor it’s alright for some
Thanks to Ken Smith, our ‘pard
His good idea, to create the Launch Card
SO..................
If on Saturday, you were not there
You missed a great time and see you in the air.
Obviously this report does not affect members Inter Galatic rights
and represents a fairly Warped view of events, with an element of
TRUTH
