At the May meeting of The RAF Hornchurch Association Peter Barrett of The Hornchurch Airfield Rocket Team (H.A.R.T) attended as guest speaker and gave a very entertaining video assisted talk on Rocketry.
This was followed by a questions and answers session during which questions were raised such as how high and fast could these craft travel and whether there are any restrictions concerning their launch point position and flight path.
The questions came thick and fast which never posed a problem for Peter as he clearly knew his stuff and was able to use part of his rocket collection to demonstrate his answers to some of the more technical questions that were raised.
Peter Barrett's presentation on behalf of the Hornchurch Airfield Rocket Team had been a great success with many members of The RAF Hornchurch Association asking as to when they can go to watch a launch and a couple of members even expressed an interest in joining H.A.R.T.
Long may H.A.R.T. fly in the same airspace that "The Few" used in the last millenium for their "Battle For Supremacy".
