
Rocket powered cars and dragsters are still fairly new to the U.K. but a number of club members have now built and launched them.
There is now an number of Rocket Dragsters that have been
built by members of the
H.A.R.T. Rocket Club
Some of the cars are : -

This dragster is made out of Lego which is then glued together and has so far reached an average speed of 24 M.P.H. and travels over 120 feet on JUST a A8-3 engine

The Rocket Sled is made out of Lego which is then glued together and has reached an average speed of 22 M.P.H. and travels over 110 feet on a C engine

The Sandmaster - is the remains of a radio controlled truck and has reached average speeds of over 30 M.P.H. and travels 200 feet on a D11-P engine.

Lightstorm
is probably the fastest Dragster in the H.A.R.T. club and was the car picked to
be H.A.R.T.'s entry for the Television Programme "TECHNOGAMES
2001" Rocketry Dragster Event
This car has a recorded top speed of 67 M.P.H. on "C" engines
The Speeder - built by Laurie Calvert , powered by A-C engines
The Speeder is basically a rocket with axles and wheels. It's 15 inches long and has a wheel base of 10 inches, weighs 150grams and on a C engine averages a speed of 40MPH over a 75 metre run
Just A Little Bit Of Power !!! - built by Robert Felstead and Peter Barrett and powered by 2 D12-0 engines or a D3-6 "TUTU" engine but can be launched with all three in a cluster !!!!
Chopper - built by Tony Bailey, powered by A-C engines.
This is a model car which was converted into a rocket dragster.
